Humber Explorer is a fantasy Humber fuel/oil tanker barge.
Based loosely on a tanker barges that frequent the Humber, and nearby waterways. The name is based on the John H Whitaker Ltd tankers name sequence, Humber Princess, Humber Pride etc.
Fully loaded the water washes over the deck. Changing to 50% load is fairly close to an empty load, but in real life the bow is nearly
completely out of the water.
The engine, and thruster sounds are from an actual recording of Rix Owl manuvering at Goole. It is a slightly more modern, and a larger craft than the Explorer, but they are far better than the default sounds.

Lashette (Pulling version 2)
by Michael Askin (c)2007
Owned by Deans Tugs of Hull, she has a bollard pull of 10 tonnes, using twin Schottle drive. I'm not really sure about any other specifications, so I guessed: 68 feet long, 20 feet wide. Top speed of 12 knots.
The engine sound is actually it's sister tug "Shovette" (12 tonne bollard pull), and was recorded while making 8 mph through the water. The sound was speeded up a little to make it a little more immediate at full speed.
Lashette is a tug based on the Humber Estuary on the east coast of the UK. It was made especially for Lighter Aboard SHip (LASH) barges - which are small unpowered barges that are loaded onto a larger mothership for ocean crossings. Lighters carrying grain were (are still?) taken up to Selby and then picked up steel on the return journey for onward travel to the States.
The design looks unusual as it is designed to go in two different directions. When pushing barges the boat would use the flat end as forwards, and the design reflects this as the other end looks similar to a barge's stern. When used for towing the "pointy" end becomes the bow, and to this end two sets of navigation lights (forwards and reverse) are employed.
This version fixes a problem with some missing Instruments.
