Here are new elements for the SZD-59 Acro. It was always difficult to fly tailslides with it, because it made some spins when it started dropping backwards. I found a way to correct this. Flying tailslides is now very close to the real one.

Boeing 727-114s, Boeing 727-214s, Boeing 737-214s and McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30s replaced the Electras in 1965–70. The May 1965 OAG shows 103 Electras a week Los Angeles (LAX) to San Francisco (SFO), 32 a week Los Angeles to Oakland, 34 a week Burbank to San Francisco and 5 a week San Diego to San Francisco. Schedule time Los Angeles to San Francisco was 60 minutes while Burbank-San Francisco was 55 minutes. (Apparently, the May OAG wasn't up to date; PSA's timetable for 20 April 1965 shows some 727 flights. On Fridays and Sundays the 727 left San Diego in the morning and returned 16 hours later after making seven LAX-SFO-LAX round trips; other days of the week it made six round trips.)

The crash of Alaska Airlines 1866, the deadliest in Alaska’s history, and, at the time, the country, led to changes, including the integration of a new set of navigation specifications, tested in Alaska, to prevent future crashes.

At least one man wants to remember those National Guardsmen who volunteered to help out 50 years ago, before it was even known if it was a search and rescue or recovery.

“It was kind of ironic. I had to go to Anchorage that week,” said Charlie Smith in an interview. “I came back on Friday. I still had my ticket that had me coming home on that flight the next day.”

Smith, then a National Guard first lieutenant leading the 910th Combat Engineer Company of the Alaska Army National Guard, recounted his experience of the crash as guardsmen helped out state and federal organizations in treating the dead and investigating the crash. The crash, caused by incorrect navigational information, according to the National Transportation Safety Board, resulted in the death of 104 passengers and 7 crew aboard an Alaska Airlines Boeing 727.

This is a pack of emergency liveries like the original United States Police, Coast Guard and Border Patrol based on Mike Summer's model ships. This pack contains for this version, the New York Police, the USCG and the USBP on the Chinook 2 and Defender Class. It also contains fixes on the behavior (vehicle.cfg and lights) and additions like a crew with the outfit colorized according to the service and also the addition of other type of panels. Other liveries will be added in the futur. Boats models author: Mike Summer (He authorized me to publish the liveries pack with the fixes. In case of publication problems I have proof by email).
