This is a WIP vehicle, so it may have an updated version in the near future. The Vehicle's cfg files were tweaked to give it a more realistic handling, and the model itself has been cleaned up and given textures to give it a nice appearance.

Details of Career
The Jackal was a Cunard tug and tender based at Glasgow. It was built in 1853 and was registered as
owned by Burns and MacIver. It had new boilers fitted in 1862 and passed into full Cunard ownership in
1879. In 1888 it was moved to be based in Liverpool. At some time during the 1890's it was broken up at
Tranmere, on the banks of the Mersey.

This model is an adaptation of Stern trawler Princesse initial design for VSF to Virtual Sailor NG version 9.

Because of certain glitches making impossible for now to load the initial model in VS NG as it is, this specific model is an adaptation using some tricks in order to provide the same features, basically animations and self illuminated parts.
Therefore the related commands are different.

The model features:

- genuine Caterpillar 3208 engine sound,
- max speed 8,4 knots at 2600 RPM.
- fishing vessel navigation lights as well as deck lighting (activated by anchor light command in lights panel),
- self illuminated wheelhouse and crew compartement,
- swinging cabin door [anim_0 or ctrl+A],
- sliding cabin door giving access to the galley [anim_1],
- swinging door giving access to front deck [anim_2],
- animation [anim_3] stowing fenders and closing access door to the crew compartment,
- animation [anim_4] changing the configuration of the stern deck when trawling,
- adjusted docking points as well as anchor points,
- adjusted position of the hook to hide the tow rope while trawling.

This file includes Chris Johnston's version of light.dds originally provided with his "Flatbed_V2" add-on.
It should be copied to the "graphics" folder [don't forget to make a backup copy of the original].
