This SRB is an unpowered towable object, it allows you to play around with recovering the SRB after a shuttle launch. Length, Circumference and Mass are all as close to reality as possible.

A whale and a marlin.
These are my first tries in simple 2 frame animation, so they can be used in VS and VSF.
I am aware the whale file is not ideal.
try to change the animal.cfg in the whale folder to this:
0.3 [fps]
1 [min_vel]
15 [max_vel]
0.05 [homing_constant]
3.14 [min_angle_flap]
-200 [min_alt]
-1 [max_alt]
100 [rmax]
50 [rmin]
1000 [change_time]
and it will better perform.

This VOR70 was first build as a private project to have a VOR70 for VSF in addition to the VOR60 for VS.
Since then a VOR70 was added for VS.
The VOR70 types are very popular for their speed and performance.
And a VOR70 was not yet available for VSF.
So these VOR70's are made for VSF! VS can not handle animation, required to make the fins move.
These VOR70's have animated front fins (ctrl-a to switch)
Ropework is not as good as the VS models, and lack of information made me decide to add the instruments I like rather than gamble for the original.
These sailboats are for VSF only, some parts do not work in VS!

Ilan helped me on a rocket issue I had in VSF.
To understand the rocket engine in VSF, I first used Space Ship One made for Micro Flight by Victor Egorov.

Than came accross a Micro Flight Goldie: Space Shuttle Columbia build after flight STS-107 by Ilan Papini.

I tried it in VSF, but I missed the rocket blast.

So I used some spare parts from Space Ship One (flames bitmap), to get the Columbia really ready for VSF, and made a fixing flames.cfg file, which was missing from the Micro Flight download file.

The model build by Ilan Papini, works so great, that I thought it need a place as
Micro Flight Gold Model
in the add-on section of VSF. Also to remember those who gave their lives for science and knowledge, the crew of flight STS-107.
The zip file contain the STS-107 file that must be copied to the vehicles folder.
Sorry, there is no panel available yet.

This scenery covers Lake Superior along the shores of the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin, in the United States. It is designed almost exclusively for sailors, as there are currently no airports. Lake Superior provides a great place to sail anything from a sunfish up to
Laker or sea-going vessel.
