This file contains replacements for the normal sailboat panel and a separate hand compass that replaces the 360 degrees with the 32 point compass used by sailing ships.
To install the new panel to use globally for all sailing ships, copy the instruments and panels folders to your VSF folder. Alternatively you can set this up for individual ships by copying the instruments and panels folders to that ship's folder.
The hand_1 file for the hand compass is a special case. You do not want to replace the hand compass on all vehicles with the 32 point naval compass texture, so to install it copy the hand_1 folder to the instruments folder for any ship where you want to use this compass.
All folders contain copies of the original files and textures. If you want to revert the sail panel to the VSF original, go to the sail folder in the VSF panels folder, delete the panel.cfg file and rename "panel ORIG.cfg" to "panel.cfg".
